Talk: Faith in fashion

Tim Cooper, Emeritus Professor of Sustainable Design and Consumption at Nottingham Trent University, discussed sustainable fashion in this talk for Green Christian.

Fashion is an industry with stark ethical questions right at the heart of its business model – exploited labour, novelty, waste, and huge land and water use. How should Christians navigate these ethical issues?

Tim Cooper is internationally recognised for his research on the life-span of consumer durables and has led several research projects on sustainable clothing funded by Defra and WRAP. He is also a Trustee of Green Christian.
