Phil Callaghan is the Church Community Development Manager at Trussell (formerly known as the Trussell Trust).
He is responsible for Trussell’s partnering with churches – the vision being to end hunger today, together, and forever. Prior to this he held various roles with Christian organisations working for a more just society.
Phil will be explaining Trussell’s expansion of its activities, which include supporting foodbanks across the country, to an added focus on the root causes of food poverty: why it exists, and what we can do to combat it.
