Joy in Enough would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the National Committee of the World Day of Prayer for a grant of £2,000.
World Day of Prayer is a women-led, global, ecumenical movement. Worship materials for 2018’s World Day of Prayer were prepared by women of Suriname on the theme of ‘All God’s Creation is Very Good.’ With such a close link between this subject and the concerns of Green Christian, we were glad to have the opportunity to share more about our Joy in Enough project with the National Committee of World Day of Prayer, and were delighted when they decided to award a grant.
We hope that many groups and congregations that gathered to pray and to share in Bible study on the World Day of Prayer will gather again around Joy in Enough’s Plenty! discussion guide, which we plan to publish in spring 2019.
