The Green Christian Festival will take place over the weekend of the 23rd to the 25th of October 2020. In light of recent events, all gatherings will be held online, and all are welcome.
We will be joined by a wide range of thinkers, activists, poets and theologians, including Bishop James Jones, Jonathon Porritt, Rob Hopkins, Rebecca Willis, and many more.
The theme for the event is ‘Re-imagining the promised land’, inspired by Covid-19 and the possibilities that opened up in the midst of the pandemic. What glimpses of a more positive culture did we glimpse – perhaps a greater awareness of nature? Or a new sense of neighbourliness and belonging? What can we imagine taking forward from here? Is there a new story that we can tell about what a good life means?
