Green Christian’s conference for 2022 is on the theme Build Back Greener, and it will take place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of October. Kicking off the conference on the Friday evening will be environmentalist and writer Paul Kingsnorth, speaking via Zoom in a free online session.
Saturday will be an in-person conference at the Priory Rooms, Birmingham, from 10:15 to 4:30 – a day of thought-provoking talks on creating a sustainable economy. We will welcome scientist and theologian Professor Christopher Southgate, and workshops will cover topics such as money and debt, consumerism, and tax justice. There will be an opportunity to take part in a taster session of the Plenty! course, and lots of of time for conversation and networking.
Costs have been kept as low as possible, with pricing set at three different levels so that nobody should feel excluded from taking part.
